The gaming laptop can easily be carried around as its lighter than expected. However, despite its skinny build, the device packs a dedicated Nvidia GeForce 1060 graphics card with up to 6GB of video memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Gaming laptop comes in two variants via the low-end and the top-end.
SPECIFICATIONS OF XIAOMI MI GAMING LAPTOP (VARIANTS)
The Windows 10-based Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop features a 15.6-inch, narrow-frame full-HD display that has 72 percent of NTSC colour gamut and supports 178-degree of viewing angles. The notebook also sports a professional RGB-backlit keyboard with five-programmable keys.
The low-end Mi Gaming Laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 and includes Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5 RAM, 8GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and 128GB SSD,
Its top-end variant has Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 RAM, 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and 256GB of NVMe PCIe SSD.
Both variants have 1TB of 2.5-inch hard drive. There are other configurations as well.
On the connectivity front, the Mi Gaming Laptop has four USB 3.0 ports alongside USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0, Ethernet, and microphone and headphone jacks. There is also a 3-in-1 memory card reader.
The Mi Gaming Laptop has 46-percent of air-inlet grills on its build and includes a combination of 3+2 large-diameter heat pipes. Specifically for premium audio experience, the Xiaomi notebook has two 3W speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio integration.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
It will go on sale in China from April 13 in two variants, priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 62,000) for low-end and CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 93,000) for top-end.
Details about the availability of the Mi Gaming Laptop in markets other than China aren’t announced yet.
