Just like Reddit, Facebook has begun to roll out “downvote” features that lets users give a negative reaction to comments on the social networking platform but it is not the “dislike” button.
If user Click the “downvote” button, the comment will automatically disappear from his/her sight then a question will surface asking the user to say whether the comment was “offensive”, “misleading”, or “off topic”.
A “dislike” button has been on many users’ wishlist since the social media giant introduced its “like” button in February 2009.
Remember, Facebook’s “like” button allows users to express their approval for the messages, photos and other content their friends posted while the “downvote” button works on comments.
With the availability of the two buttons, users can now easily express their selves. Facebook confirmed the test in February this year.
